Fen Huang Dan Cun (凤凰单丛) — Phoenix Single Bush Tea — is a legendary semi-fermented oolong from Phoenix Mountain (Fenghuang Shan) in Guangdong Province. Each "Dan Cong" (single bush) tea is sourced from individual ancient plants, each carrying its own distinct aromatic profile — a tradition that makes every lot a unique expression of the mountain's living heritage.
Origin & Character
Origin: Phoenix Mountain (Fenghuang Shan), Chaozhou, Guangdong, China
Type: Dan Cong Oolong (凤凰单丛) | Form: Twisted loose leaf
Processing: Traditional withering, oxidation, rolling & charcoal roasting
The ancient tea bushes of Phoenix Mountain — some centuries old — produce a tea of remarkable complexity. FHDC is known for its "Hundred Aromas" (百香): individual bushes naturally express floral, fruity, or honey-like profiles without any additives. Traditional charcoal roasting enhances aromatic depth and adds a subtle warm dimension to the tea's character.
