Online Order Cancellation & Return Fee

Customer-Initiated Cancellation or Return

If you change your mind after placing an order and wish to cancel the purchase or return an eligible product for reasons unrelated to a defect, damage, incorrect item, or other error on the part of GABA Tea House, a 14.5% non-refundable fee will be deducted from the entire amount paid for the order, in accordance with the GABA Tea House Refund and Return Policy.

The 14.5% fee is calculated on the full amount of the original transaction, not only on the value of the returned product.

This fee reflects costs and expenses incurred by GABA Tea House in connection with processing and fulfilling an online transaction, including:

  • operation and maintenance of our website and e-commerce infrastructure;
  • fees and costs associated with all integrated applications, plugins, software, and third-party services used to process and manage online orders;
  • payment gateway and transaction processing fees;
  • financial administration and accounting services;
  • financial and tax consulting services;
  • tax-related administrative and compliance costs;
  • taxes and other government charges actually paid by GABA Tea House in connection with the transaction, where applicable;
  • order processing, administration, customer service, and other operational expenses associated with the online purchase.

These costs are incurred by GABA Tea House when an online order is processed and may not be recoverable when a customer subsequently changes their mind and requests cancellation or return.

Therefore, in the event of a customer-initiated cancellation or return that is not caused by an error, defect, damage, or other issue attributable to GABA Tea House, 14.5% of the entire amount originally paid will be retained by GABA Tea House, and the remaining amount will be refunded in accordance with this Policy.

Example

If the total amount paid for an online order is IDR 1,000,000:

Original amount paid: IDR 1,000,000
14.5% non-refundable fee: IDR 145,000
Refund amount: IDR 855,000

The 14.5% fee is a cost-recovery and transaction-processing charge and is not intended as a penalty for cancelling an order.

Important

The 14.5% fee does not apply where a refund, replacement, or other remedy is required because:

  • the wrong product was sent;
  • the product arrived damaged;
  • the product is defective;
  • the product does not correspond to the order;
  • the product was expired; or
  • the issue was caused by GABA Tea House.

In such cases, the customer’s rights will be handled in accordance with applicable Indonesian consumer protection and e-commerce regulations.
