Cangwu County is considered the birthplace of Liu Bao tea — where the soil, climate, and ancient cultivars combine to produce an unmistakable character. The leaves are processed using traditional methods and aged to develop the characteristic glycolic sweetness and betel nut fragrance (槟榔香) that grows more pronounced and fragrant over time. Known for aiding digestion and improving metabolism.
