Tea Pets — Chinese Ceremony Figurines

Tea pets (茶宠, cha chong) are small ceramic and clay figurines that live on the tea tray during Gongfu Cha. Poured over with tea during ceremony, they slowly develop patina and character over years of use — becoming quiet companions in the practice.
