Gaba Tea School — Learn the Art of Tea Ceremony
Gaba Tea School
Learn the Art of Chinese Tea Ceremony.
Become a Certified Tea Master.
Tea is one of the oldest living traditions in the world — and one of the least understood in the modern West. At Gaba Tea School, we offer a structured, personal path into the world of Chinese tea culture: from your first gaiwan session to full certification as a Tea Master.
This is not a course you watch on a screen. It is a living practice, learned in real time — with real tea, real teaware, and a teacher who has spent years in the tradition.
What You Will Learn
🍵 Gongfu Cha (功夫茶) — Chinese Tea Ceremony
The Chinese way of skill, precision, and presence. You will learn the complete Gongfu Cha ritual — from setting up the ceremony table to pouring for guests — with all its philosophy, etiquette, and depth.
- The six categories of Chinese tea and how to brew each
- Teaware — gaiwans, Yixing teapots, chahe, chahai, chaban
- Water temperature, timing, leaf ratio, and multiple infusion technique
- Reading the tea — colour, aroma, flavour, aftertaste (hui gan 回甘)
- Hosting a ceremony for guests — flow, etiquette, and presence
- Tea as mindfulness — the philosophy behind each movement
