Feng Huang Dan Cong (凤凰单丛) — also known as Phoenix Single Bush Oolong — originates from the Phoenix Mountains (Fenghuang Shan) in Guangdong Province, China.
This legendary oolong is cultivated from ancient tea bushes, each carrying its own distinct aromatic profile. The name “Dan Cong” translates to “single bush,” emphasizing the individuality and terroir of each tree.

Grown at high altitudes in misty mountain air and mineral-rich soil, Feng Huang Dan Cong embodies the essence of southern Chinese craftsmanship — a tea of floral elegance, fruity sweetness, and lingering depth.
Through traditional processing techniques — withering, oxidation, hand-rolling, and charcoal roasting — each leaf is transformed into a masterpiece of aroma and flavor balance.

Taste & Aroma

Infusion: Clear amber-gold with a luminous glow.
Aroma: Enticing bouquet of orchid, honey, ripe peach, and tropical flowers.
Flavor: Layers of sweet nectar, roasted almond, and stone fruit, balanced by a gentle floral dryness.
Aftertaste: Long, smooth, and sweet, with delicate hints of honey and roasted nuts that linger beautifully.

Each steep reveals a new facet of the tea’s character — from floral to fruity, from bright to mellow.

Brewing

  • 5–6 g per 150 ml
  • Water temperature: 90–95 °C
  • Steep time: 20–30 seconds (increase with each infusion)
  • Suitable for gongfu-style brewing — up to 7 infusions

To enhance flavor, briefly rinse the leaves with hot water before the first brew.
