Silver Needle is harvested exclusively from young, unopened buds of the Fuding Da Bai cultivar — each bud covered in fine white down, giving the tea its characteristic silvery appearance. The jasmine scenting is applied through a traditional process of layering fresh night-blooming jasmine flowers with the dried buds, allowing the tea to naturally absorb the floral fragrance over time.
