Gong Ting Shu Puer (贡廷熟普洱) — Imperial Ripe Puer — is a refined and historically significant ripe puer from Yunnan Province. Known as "Imperial Puer," this tea traces its origins back thousands of years, when it was exclusively reserved for the royal court. Today, Gong Ting retains its noble reputation, offering an exceptionally smooth, sweet, and velvety experience.
Origin & Character
Region: Yunnan Province, China | Type: Shu Puer (ripe puer / 熟普洱茶)
Grade: Gong Ting (imperial/palatial) | Form: Loose leaf
Gong Ting stands out among shu puers for its exceptionally fine grade material — tiny, downy buds with the highest concentration of polyphenols and natural sugars. The deep wet-pile fermentation (wo dui 渥堆) and careful aging result in a luxuriously smooth texture and elegant flavour profile suitable for both beginners and experienced tea drinkers.
